Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC)₂

Do you have an extra $1,000 laying around for a car repair? When you don’t, Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC) is the solution. MRC helps drivers mitigate costly auto repairs, so they can keep moving forward.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)₃

Newly purchased vehicles depreciate in value as soon as they’re driven off the dealer’s lot. When a vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and not recovered, you could owe more than the vehicle is worth. GAP insurance is designed to reduce or eliminate the difference between the insurance settlement and the loan balance. 

Ask about how you can add GAP to your auto loan. If you have an existing GAP policy with Community West, contact us to file a claim. If you purchased GAP directly at your auto dealership, contact your dealer to file a claim.

Debt Protection₄

Your family means everything to you, and if the unexpected happens, you don’t want to add financial stress on top of an emotional situation. That’s why Community West offers Debt Protection which may cancel your loan balance, up to the contract maximums, in case of involuntary unemployment, disability and death. It’s just one more way you can look out for the people you love.

3 Your purchase of MEMBERS CHOICE™ Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is optional and will not affect your loan application for credit or the terms of any credit agreement you have with us. Certain eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions may apply. You will receive the contract before you are required to pay for GAP. You should carefully read the contract for a full explanation of the terms. If you choose GAP, adding the GAP fee to your loan amount will increase the cost of GAP. You may cancel GAP at any time. If you cancel GAP within 90 days, you will receive a full refund of any fee paid.

4 Your purchase of Debt Protection is optional and will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any credit agreement required to obtain a loan. Certain eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions may apply. Please contact your loan representative or refer to the Member Agreement for full terms. You may cancel the protection at any time. If you cancel within 30 days, you will receive a full refund of any fee paid.

5 IDProtect® service is a personal identity theft protection service available to CWCU account owners(s), their joint account owners and their eligible family members. The service is available to non-publicly traded businesses and their business owner(s) listed on the account and their eligible family members (service not available to employees or authorized signers who are not owners). Service is not available to a “signer” on the account who is not an account owner. Service is not available to clubs, organizations and/or churches and their members, schools and their employees/students. For revocable grantor trusts, the service is available only when a grantor is serving as a trustee and covers the grantor trustee(s) and their eligible family members (Fiduciary is not covered). Family includes: Spouse, persons qualifying as domestic partner, and children under 25 years of age and parent(s) of the account holder who are residents of the same household. Registration/activation required.

6 Credit file monitoring from Equifax and TransUnion will take several days to begin following activation.
