Community West’s internal Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIBs) Group has implemented initiatives that grow our understanding of diversity within the community and financial industry. The group, formed to expand awareness and promote change, recommends, guides, and manages training opportunities, policies, and education initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Since its conception, the DIBs Group has organized diversity, equality, allyship, unconscious bias, and dis/ability training for all staff. Community West supports the protected classes for federal employers in the EEO, Anti-Harassment, and Affirmative Action policies to include height, weight, familial status, marital status, sexual orientation, including transgender status, gender identity, or expression. Gender Expression and Anti-Bullying policies were also added to support an inclusive work environment further. Community West is committed to positive change, continued education, and being an ally to all.
