- This giveaway is open to adults who are 18 years or older and legal residents of the state of Michigan at the time of entry. Employees of Community West Credit Union (CWCU) and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible. Immediate family members are defined as the following relationship to the employee: father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, and children. Household members are defined as anyone who resides in the same household as the employee, regardless of their familial relationship.
- Eligible individuals may enter the giveaway by:
- Submit a completed entry form via the online registration form.
- Print your name, address, telephone number, and age on a postcard or piece of paper and mail it to CWCU, Attn: Marketing, PO Box 8069, Kentwood, MI 49518. All entries received from 8:00am, September 8th, 2025 to 8:00pm, September 13th, 2025 will qualify and be entered into the drawing.
- All entries become the property of the credit union, will not be returned, and are subject to verification. When an eligible individual enters during the giveaway period, they will be entered into the giveaway, allowing for only one entry.
- The winner will be selected by a random drawing to be held on or about September 15th, 2025, from qualified entries received. The drawing will be held at Community West Credit Union Headquarters by a Community West marketing department staff member. The winner will be announced via email or telephone. The number of qualified entries will determine the odds of winning. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond in 10 days, the winner will be disqualified, and a substitute winner will be randomly selected from the remaining entries.
- One (1) winner will receive a gift basket with various items (retail value $150.00). The prize is provided by CWCU. No substitutions or transfers of prizes will be allowed. CWCU reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
- The Prizes will be provided directly to the winners from CWCU via pick up in a CWCU branch or mail via the US Postal Service.
- The giveaway's sponsor is Community West Credit Union, 5801 Broadmoor Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49512. All decisions of CWCU in applying these giveaway rules will be final.
- CWCU is not responsible for lost entries, misdirected entries, undelivered or late entries, computer or internet problems, hacking, viruses, technical or other issues beyond the reasonable control of CWCU.
- No purchase or credit union membership is necessary to enter this giveaway. Terms and conditions may apply. Participation constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these rules.
- The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, municipal, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
- In case of a dispute as to the identity of a winner that entered online, such entry will be made by the registered user of the email account, and if a prize is won, and such registered user as submitted a valid entry, the prize will be awarded to such registered user.
- Except as otherwise prohibited by law, by entering this giveaway, each entrant grants permission to CWCU to use his/her name, address, and likeness for advertising/publicity purposes in any and all media without further compensation. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the prize and the awarding of the prize to another individual.
- By participating in the giveaway, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless CWCU and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims of liability arising directly from participating in the giveaway of the award of any prize.
- By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that if he/she is awarded a prize, CWCU may verify the information provided as a condition of the entrant receiving the prize. All prizes are awarded “as-is” and without warranty of any kind. All local, state, and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
