Credit Card Update:

As of today, your new credit card is available to use. You may go to www.communitywestcu.org and select “Visa Credit Card Login” under the “Credit Cards” tab.

Online Banking Instructions: 

Please begin using your Community West online banking. See online banking instructions below:

  • Access communitywestcu.org.
  • Click the light blue Login button on the top right.
  • Type your NEW Community West account number into the Username section.
  • Type the last 4 digits of the primary member’s social security number in the Password section.
  • Click the dark blue Login button.
  • You will be directed to a new page.
  • Enter your new password.
    • Your password must be at least 8 characters long, and you can use up to 256 characters.
    • Combine at least three out of the following four choices: upper case letter, lower case letter, number, and a special character.
    • A special character is any one of the following: `~!@#$%&*()_+}{|:;’?/<.>,\-
    • Your password is case sensitive.
    • Your Online Banking password is not the PIN used for voice access.
  • On the next screen, create your security questions. You will be asked one of these questions every time you log into online banking. When you are finished, click the “Save My Questions” button.
  • You will then be presented with our Online Banking Use Agreement. If you agree with our terms and conditions, click “I Accept”.

Important Merger Information:

  • ACCOUNT NUMBERS: Account numbers will have 60,000,000 added to the current number in order to bring all accounts in the TCU membership to a total length of 8 digits. (Example: If your account number is 123450. Your new account number will be 60123450) Your account number will change as of 7/14. Stop by a branch to get a new account card today!
  • ACCOUNT HISTORY: No account history will be transferred over. Please save your statements to review your past transactions.
  • PERSONAL CHECKS: You will be able to continue using your TCU checks indefinitely. CWCU is assuming the routing and transit numbers for TCU. If you re-order checks prior to the integration, your new checks will include your current account information. Checks ordered after the integration will include your adjusted account number and CWCU’s routing and transit numbers.
  • ­­DEBIT/ATM CARDS: Your TCU MasterCard debit card has expired. If you use this product, you will need to activate your new debit card using the phone number listed on your account. Once you’ve activated your new debit card, please use your new card. Please contact us or visit a branch to update the phone number on your TCU account.
  • CREDIT CARDS:Your new cards have arrived. Please begin using your new cards.
  • DIRECT DEPOSIT: There will be no interruption in the direct deposit of funds into your account(s). No action on your part will be required.
  • BILL PAYMENT: Bill payment information will not be transferred over. Please contact the credit union for the best way to transfer this information.
  • SOCIAL SECURITY AND PENSION PAYMENTS: There will be no interruption in your social security or pension payments. No action on your part will be required.
  • SHARED BRANCHING NETWORK: As of July 16th, you will no longer be able to use the COOP Shared Branching Network. You will still be able to use the surcharge free COOP ATMS. You will now have access to the Xtend Shared Branching Network for deposits, withdraws and payments.
