Vern Hyde Scholarship
Scholarship expands to offer College, University, and Trade School Opportunities
This scholarship, given out by Community West Credit Union in partnership with the Steelcase Retirees Club, will be awarded to four individuals. Two for high school seniors starting college in the fall, one for a high school senior attending a trade program upon graduation, and one for a student who is currently in college and returning to school in the fall. The overall high school senior scholarship recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship. The runner-up high school senior will receive a $1,500 scholarship. The current college student and trade program recipient will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Applications are available online and in all branches. Completed applications and essays must be submitted by 11:59 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Must be a member in good standing for 12 months at time of funds disbursement. Eligibility is limited to high school seniors or current college students who live or attend school in Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent or Ottawa counties.
Branching Out!
Comstock Park Branch- Our interior remodel is almost complete! The branch lobby and drive-thru are open. Stop in and see the progress, but please excuse the dust!
Middleville Branch- We purchased a new building located at 303 Arlington St. in Middleville! Remodeling is currently underway. We hope to move in late winter/early spring 2023!

Annual Meeting
Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 6:15 PM
The Annual Meeting will be held at 6:15 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at our Kentwood Branch 5801 Broadmoor Ave. SE, Kentwood. There are two open board positions to fill. If members wish to have their name appear on the ballot, they must be in good standing and submit a petition by February 1, 2023. Nominations from the floor will not be accepted. Important Information Regarding E-Filing
If you will be e-filing and direct depositing a tax refund for the 2022 tax year, you will be required to fill-in the ROUTING number for CWCU as well as your ACCOUNT number. The sample below contains the CWCU routing number. For your account number, please review a recent account statement or, visit your nearest branch for assistance.
NOTE: Your debit card number is not your CWCU account number and will delay your refund significantly.
